X-Force Inspired Dog Names

Wolfsbane is a mutant whose powers just so happen to make her look like a wolf. By all intents and purposes, Rahne is just a human with a particularly unique set of genes (known as the X-gene in the Marvel Universe.) Mutants are even scientifically called homo sapiens superior or simply homo superior as a reference to their close ties with the human genome. Hrimhari, on the other hand, isn't a mutant; rather he's a full-fledged Asgardian! That's right, Hrimhari hails from the same homeland as Thor the Thunderer - with the two heroes even being distant relatives in a manner of speaking. 

Hrimhari's family tree looks something like this - his father is Fenris, a gigantic wolf that terrorized Asgard for eons and is prophesied to play a pivotal role in Ragnarok (the Norse Mythological equivalent to the Judaeo Christian event Armageddon). Here's the kicker; Fenris' father is none other than Loki Laufeyson - the Norse God of Mischief and Thor's adoptive brother! While Fenris and Loki typically play antagonistic roles in most stories, Hrimhari opted to go against the grain and help others whenever and however he could. It was through fulfilling his duty to the people and creatures of Asgard that Hrimhari would meet Wolfsbane - finally encountering someone who was just like him.

Hrimhari and Wolfsbane hit it off quite well - with both parties falling for one another hard and fast. Hrimhari was so taken with Rahne - and she so taken with him - that it didn't take long for the two of them to profess their love for one another and conceive a child together. Dire circumstances would separate the star crossed lovers, leading Rahne to carry Hrimhari's child inside her on her own. When it was time for her to give birth, Wolfsbane had to essentially vomit out her child as his half mutant/half God physiology put a real strain on her body. The child was named Tier and was raised by Rahne and her fellow mutants - with Hrimhari watching and supporting from on high.
