Introduction

The first “War of the Worlds” was written by H.G. Wells in 1898, made into a film in 1953, and then again, another film was made in 2005 starring Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. In 1938, Orson Welles broadcasted an adaptation of the original “War of the Worlds” on the radio and caused panic to those listening. All of these adaptations of this story are based on an invasion of alien beings from Mars who abduct and kill hundreds of thousands of people around the world. Even with all of the world’s weapons, they were unable to defeat the aliens, but they ended up being defeated by nature as the natural bacteria on Earth killed them off.

War of the Worlds Inspired Dog Name Considerations

There's really nothing more exciting than picking out your new furever friend, and when you have chosen your new canine kid, you will also need to get some things that will make them feel right at home. For example, your new pupster would love to have their own comfy bed to sleep in, a new leash and collar to take walks with you, crunchy bones for keeping teeth clean and healthy, fun toys to play with, and some delicious food and treats. You’ll also need to find them a good veterinary professional and a name that fits them perfectly.

Naming your newest fur buddy does not need to be difficult though. In fact, all you have to do is play with them and observe them to see what kinds of habits and quirks they may have that can give you a good idea for a moniker. For example, Diva would be awesome for the dog who thinks she is a princess and Venus would be perfect for a lovable pooch. In addition, Chewbacca would make a great name for a big, furry brown dog and Pluto is a fun name for a petite pup. Here are some more of our favorites.
