Wander Over Yonder was a short but sweet animated show that first aired on the Disney Channel on August 16th, 2013. The episode starts with Wander and Sylvia in the middle of doing their usual thing - travelling to new destinations, meeting new people - when they stop by a spa on the planet Ballzeria 9 (the significance of this particular planet's name.) The planet is the home of the flea people that we mentioned earlier and their colony is led by a queen named Beeza (voiced over by The Powerpuff Girls veteran Tara Strong). Everything's just peachy until the sound of chimes ring through across the entire planet. Beeza tells everyone to evacuate the entire planet as Buster is approaching. Wander tries to save the planet throughout the episode but is ultimately unable to stop Buster from chewing it to pieces. He is, however, able to find a new home for Beeza and her people on Buster's coat - ending the episode on a positive note.

Wander Over Yonder was considered by many to be a spiritual successor to shows like The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - largely in part thanks to the numerous men and women who worked on both shows. Kevin McFarland, a writer for an online newspaper called the "A.V. Club" specifically applauded the show for continuing the "zany legacy" of many old school Cartoon Network shoes from the 1990s and early 2000s.
