Vanity Fair Inspired Dog Names

Becky Sharp is one of the main characters of Vanity Fair, and she is presented as a cynical girl, a social climber who uses her charming personality to seduce the men from the upper class. She uses her friend Amelia, also known as Emmy, as a stepping stone so she can gain a particular position in the high-class society. She is a picaresque heroine that, despite being the outsider, manages to expose the upper class to ridicule and reveal all their well-kept secrets. Being an orphan, her road to wealth is through marriage, something that many women had to do in the Victorian times to make it to the top.

However, Becky is not just a cunning Vanity Fair character, she is also a lovely pup that is looking for a family that will love and care for her. So, similar to Becky Sharp, Becky the dog is looking to improve her situation and have a healthy, stable life. Sochi Dogs posted about this lovely dog. She is a mix of a Lab and a Whippet and is a beautiful black doggo with the kindest eyes in the world. She is so loving, and her personality is mellow and easygoing, and she will never say no to cuddles! She loves attention, much like Becky Sharp, but her intentions are definitely purer and more innocent. She is able to stand on her hind legs until she gets the pets she wants and deserves, and if that does not steal your heart, we don’t know what will.

She is well trained and has exceptional house manners. She does not to be crated and does not guard her food, or her toys, so she would get along with other dogs amazingly. The lovely Becky loves hiking, and she is always ready to go on an adventure. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, sniffing everything, but knows when to stop and just go to her destination. She loves car rides, especially if they are to the beach, where she can swim and run, and play fetch. The beautiful girl is so sweet and modest, and so smart that she can catch on even to the most complicated of commands. She is positive and has a zest for life, and always the best friend anyone can ever ask for. And she deserves a home.

Sochi Dogs did not post an update yet, but hopefully, Becky found her family and she is now going on long hikes, car rides, and having all the delicious treats she wants. Most importantly, we hope that she is loved, because if someone deserves it – it is Becky.
