Two and a Half Men Dog Names

In the television sitcom Two and a Half Men, one of the main characters is Jacob “Jake” Harper, played by actor Angus T. Jones. He is the son of Alan and Judith Harper; a problematic young boy who spends most of his time eating, playing video games, playing the guitar and smoking weed with his best friend, Eldridge. He is innocent and friendly but can be very stubborn. Although he can be act indifferent towards his father and Uncle Charlie, it is obvious that he loves and respects them. However, the divorce of his parents took a toll on him and brought out his rebellious side.

Jake is also the name of another famous character from the animated television series Adventure Time. The series, created by Pendleton Ward, airs on Cartoon Network and follows the adventures of the two main protagonists: a boy named Finn and his closest friend and adoptive brother Jake. The latter is a shape-shifting dog who can change his size and shape whenever he wants. The two live in the fictional post-apocalyptic “Land of Ooo”, where they interact with several other characters, such as Princess Bubblegum, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Ice King and BMO, among others.

Jake is a canine who is in his 30s, which is considered “magical” in dog years. According to the show, he was conceived when Joshua, his father, was driving a wagon with his wife, Margaret, on their way to an inspection. During this investigation, an unknown blue creature showed up and bit Joshua. Shortly after, Jake came out from the pustule on Joshua’s head, caused by the bite. Despite the odd origin of Jake, the couple decided to raise him together with their other, natural-born son named Jermaine. Little is known about Jake’s relationship with his family and his background but it is implied that he was once a very successful criminal who decided to turn over a new leaf and live a safer life with Finn.

One of the special traits of Jake is his ability to shift shapes, a unique skill set known as “Stretchy Powers”. This allows him to go from gigantic sizes down to any tiny size he desires. Personality-wise, he is relaxed and laidback in general. However, he has a knack for being in new adventures and can stand up for himself when he needs to. He also acts as the more confident “mentor” to his brother, although sometimes the advice he gives to Finn can be doubtful.
