Introduction
The Tourist Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
Frank the Pug is a well known pup and has been seen on several movies in the Men in Black series as an alien who is disguised as a dog. The alien (Frank) is a Remoolian, and in the first MiB movie, he is an informant for the Men in Black’s Agent J and Agent K. He is a hilarious pooch with a sarcastic wit and bad gas. He also likes to sing “Who Let the Dogs Out” and "I Will Survive." His job is to help the agents find information on the Arquillians Galaxy, which is actually located on Earth and may kill all of the Arquillians if the Bug aliens get ahold of it.
In the second “Men in Black” movie, Frank returns, but he is working at the MiB headquarters. Because Agent T has been neutralized, Agent J needs a new partner, and Chief Zed decides to let Frank be his sidekick, calling him Agent F. He even gets to wear a little black suit like the other agents. Unfortunately for Agent J, Frank talks constantly when he is not singing or passing wind and acts unprofessionally at the scene of every crime they visit. However, after Frank gets in trouble for biting another agent, he is demoted to being Chief Zed’s personal assistant.
In the final installment of “Men in Black,” Frank is not actually in the film but appears on a Coney Island billboard and a photo in Agent J’s room. The reason Frank did not have any scenes in this film is because the dog that acted this part had passed away. Mushu the Pug, who played Frank, also played Otis in the movie, “Milo and Otis” as well as in several other movies and commercials. Before becoming a movie star, Mushu lived with his human family, Dylan and Caius.
You can also see Frank the Pug as a character on a few of the episodes of the “Men in Black” series. He actually plays the same roles that he played in both “Men in Black” and “Men in Black II.” However, he appears to be a dark green color, has some antennae, and a three-pointed tail. There is also a video game called “MIB: Alien Crisis” in which Frank the Pug is a character. He even appears on the cover of the game. But his partners are Agent C and Agent P because Agents J and K were unavailable.
The Tourist Inspired Dog Name Considerations
Bringing a new canine kiddo home for the first time can be exciting. But it may also be overwhelming and even stressful for some poochies. Even though they are excited to have a new furever home, so many different sights and sounds, as well as the surroundings, can cause your forever friend some stress. To make things easier for your pupster, some special things of their very own can help. Some fun new toys to play with, a comfy doggy bed to snuggle up in, delicious treats and kibble to eat, and maybe a crunchy bone for them to chew on would be pawesome. You will also need to find the ideal name for your new doggo.
Sticking with the theme from the film, “The Tourist,” you could choose one of the main characters’ names such as Frank or Elise or maybe the actors who play them, Johnny and Angelina. For a big dog, Rufus, Bruno, or Igor are all pawfect names. You might also want to use one of the locations the movie was filmed in like Venice or Paris or maybe one of many famous hotels around the world like Amandari, which is a popular hotel in Bali, or the Chelsea, which is a favorite in New York.
