Introduction
The Search for Santa Paws Dog Names in Pop Culture
Paws is Santa’s new puppy (who was originally a stuffed animal) given to him to help cheer him up after one of his friends passes away. In the movie “The Search for Santa Paws,” Santa takes Paws with him to visit ambassadors for the “Santa Cause,” but Santa gets hit by a car and loses his memory. Paws teams up with an orphan girl named Quinn and her friends Willamina, Janie, Taylor, Mary, and Meg to find Santa and restore everyone’s faith in Christmas again.
Paws, Quinn, and the girls find a group of talking stray dogs named T-Money, Rasta, and Haggis who want to help find Santa so they can get off of the naughty list. Meanwhile, Santa is hired at the toy store that his friend had owned before he died. His grandson, James, and his wife are now the new owners and think that Santa would make the perfect Santa (because he is Santa), and since Santa cannot remember who he is, he agrees to do the job.
The children at the toy store love the new Santa and seem to really believe that he is Santa, so James and Kate ask him to stay there at the toy store and work with them indefinitely. The reindeer are still in Central Park waiting for Santa to return because they cannot fly without Santa’s magic and they are getting weak and sick due to the loss of magic. A young boy named Jimmy, who is a cub scout, finds the reindeer and promises to find Santa.
Jimmy finds Gus, a homeless man, who is pretending to be Santa, ringing a bell trying to get money for himself. He sees the real Santa at the toy store, but since he does not know whether he is Santa or not, he just gives Jimmy his pin as a thank you. Eli the head elf and his elf dog, Eddy get to New York and join Jimmy in searching for Santa. Eli recognizes the pin that Jimmy is wearing, and they realize that the toy store Santa must be the real one.
In the meantime, Paws is lost, and Quinn finds him and agrees to help him find Santa. She hides him in the janitor’s closet for the night so they can go to the toy store in the morning where Quinn believes she saw Santa. Unfortunately, Santa gets ill because he gave Jimmy his pin and he goes to the hospital, so Paws and Quinn do not see him at the toy store. Luckily, they find Santa before it is too late, and Eli helps revive him with his crystal so they can go back to the North Pole.
The Search for Santa Paws Dog Name Considerations
When you're getting a new canine kid, there are many things you have to do such as getting some fun new dog toys, a comfy doggy bed, a leash and collar, high-quality treats and kibble, a veterinarian, and the perfect name. While many new pupster owners have a name picked out before they even choose a dog, it makes a bit more sense to wait until you get to know your new fur buddy first. This way, you can learn all about their personality, habits, and quirks. You may just see your doggo do something that leads you to the ideal moniker for them.
For example, Icicle would be a furific name for a snow dog such as an Alaskan Malamute or a Siberian Husky and Elf would be an adorable name for a petite poochie. Rasta would be a great name for a black pup, Haggis is an awesome title for a white dog, and T-Money would be excellent for a Bulldog. Comet or Dancer would be fun for a brown pupster, and Santa would be cute for a chubby pup. No matter which pawesome title you decide on fur your new furry furever friend, make sure you like it because you will probably be saying it a lot over the next decade or so.
