Introduction
The Matrix Revolutions is the final installment in The Matrix Trilogy, written and directed by The Wachowskis, Lily, and Lana, formerly known as The Wachowski Brothers. In the Revolutions, the story picks up from the moment when Neo and Bane lie unconscious on the Hammer when Neo’s digital persona is trapped in limbo, a virtual subway station where he meets Sati. After he is freed, Neo embarks on a journey to save Zion from the Machines and destroy the Matrix once and for all, proving his status as The One.
The Matrix Revolutions Inspired Dog Names In Pop Culture
Neo, or Thomas Anderson, was the One chosen to save the world and Zion from the machines and destroy the Matrix. He went through many adventures and perils in his pursuit of happiness. Neo also shares his name and some of his character traits with a very special little creature, Neo the Border Collie who has a special talent.
Steve Bailey is a dog trainer who trained hundreds and hundreds of doggos in his behavioral therapy and daycare center in the United Kingdom, in Somerset. He says that he had trained many dogs throughout the years, but states that one dog made the biggest progress and left the brightest mark on his life, and that dog is Neo the Border Collie. Border Collies are usually highly energetic, but Steve managed to use Neo’s energy to something amazing. But first, how did they meet?
Steven got Neo after his father passed away and he needed a companion to get him through the tough times. He fell in love with the puppy as soon as he saw him, and said that their bond became instantly strong and only grew stronger with the years. Steven says that Neo kept him grounded and happy, and he vowed to train Neo as best as he could and make him into the most fascinating dog ever. They started training when Neo was very young, but Steven says that he perfectly understood all of his commands and had no issue doing anything required of him. Neo was truly the unique one in the plethora of doggos that Steve trained, and he is definitely the most intelligent and athletic one.
In the beginning, he was performing the basic tricks, but by the time when he was six months old, he could do hoop jumps, seesaw, weave, and tunnel. Basically, all the agility moves. Soon enough Neo became the parkour master and could easily perform the hoop slalom, which is a combination of weave, jump, and hoop. They started training with the target stick first, but Neo managed to figure out the moves so quickly, that Steve decided that the target stick was not necessary anymore.
Nowadays, Neo is a YouTube star with numerous viral videos on the platform. The videos show him performing the complicated stunts and tricks and always finishing with the biggest smile on his face that can melt even the iciest of hearts. So, Neo can be The One among the dogs who do agility training, and the one who can serve as an example to all the dog trainers around the world.
The Matrix Revolutions Inspired Dog Name Considerations
Lana and Lily Wachowski’s masterpiece trilogy left a huge mark on the world of cinema, but also the world of science fiction and post-apocalyptic storytelling. The trilogy influenced numerous filmmakers and screenwriters to explore the themes The Matrix started and also inspired people all over the world to name their children and dogs after some of the characters and actors who starred in the movies. So, if you are one of them, you can name your doggo after Neo, the main character and the chosen one, the person who was destined to save the world from the Machines. Another fantastic name is Trinity, after the member of the Revolution, a skilled fighter and Neo’s lover, the one who supported him through his battle with the Agents and the Matrix.
One more choice is Persephone, after The Merovingian’s wife who betrayed him to help the Resistance and only wanted a kiss of true love she saw in Neo and Trinity. Of course, we cannot forget Neo’s mentor, the amazing Morpheus, the one who offered him a red pill and freed him from the Matrix, all while leading the Resistance and the battle against the machines.
