The Kree-Skrull War Inspired Dog Names

Around 2015, the Vision was given his own comic series. The Vision's never really been a typical hero by any stretch of the imagination, so the writers behind this nascent storyline decided against telling typical stories. The result was a bone chilling, heart wrenching series of comics that were simply titled Vision. Set in 2016, these stories focus on the Vision's attempt to settle down and lead a normal life - not wanting to feel isolated and alienated from the rest of society. To this end, the Vision literally creates a family for himself by returning to the lab that Ultron used to create him and repeating the process multiple times. The Vision's efforts paid off and he soon found himself the patriarch of a family of androids just like himself; this family consisted of the Vision as the family breadwinner, Virginia as the loving mother and wife of the family, and Viv and Vin - the twin children of the family. With a house, a wife, and to kids all Vision needed was a dog to complete the set. That's where Sparky comes in..

After a series of unfortunate events, Virginia is forced to terminate a villain by the name of Grim Reaper to defend herself and her children. She then buries his body in the backyard in an attempt to hide it from the Vision. Zeke, a neighborhood dog, notices the body one day and sneaks into the Vision's backyard to investigate. He begins digging up the body but is accidentally electrocuted by the Grim Reaper's scythe. The Vision learns of poor Zeke's unfortunate demise and resolves to make things right the best way he knows how; by using the dog's brain as the basis for an android dog's central processing unit - officially creating Sparky and adopting him into his family.
