Now Deuce is an interesting case because he can really only be considered an Immortal Iron Fist dog by proxy. You see, Deuce is the dog of Foggy Nelson - a business associate and best friend of Matt Murdock - better known to most as Daredevil. Foggy originally reared up Deuce with the intention of gifting the dog to Matt as a seeing eye dog. Though grateful, Murdock declined Nelson's offer. This led to Nelson more or less adopting the dog and taking care of him personally. At the time, Nelson was dating a woman who had close ties with the Osborn family, leading Deuce to become well acquainted with Norman Harold Osborn - Harry Osborn's son.

Now some of you may be wondering "what does Daredevil has to do with the Immortal Iron Fist?" As it just so happens, Iron Fist and Daredevil are both members of the Manhattan based superhero group known as the Defenders (alongside Luke Cage and Jessica Jones).
