The Gifted Inspired Dog Names

Eclipse may be one of the main stars in the hit Fox television show, “The Gifted,” but the Eclipse in this story is a pawsitively gifted pooch who learned how to ride the bus by herself so she could go to the dog park. Yes, the people of the small suburb of Belltown, Washington in Seattle have been enjoying sharing the bus with this black Mastador several times a week for the past couple of years. She knows where to get on the bus, where to sit, and which stop to get off at.

It all started one day when Eclipse and her owner, Jeff Young were waiting for the bus to go to the park and Jeff was taking too long with his cigarette, so Eclipse got on the bus by herself. When Jeff got to the park frantically looking for his furever friend a while later on the next bus, he found her happily laying in the grass waiting for him. Apparently, Jeff had been taking his furbaby to the park several times a week since he got her, and she knew the route.

So now Eclipse has a bus pass of her very own attached to her collar and all of the regulars on the Seattle D-Line bus in King County know the fur buddy. Although some of the authorities in the county have said that maybe Eclipse should be accompanied by her owner and be on a leash, the law states that dogs can ride the bus at the bus driver’s discretion. And all of the bus drivers on this route know and love Eclipse.

The passengers on the D-Line bus love sharing their commute with such a happy and furiendly furbaby and nobody has ever complained about a dog being unaccompanied on the bus. In fact, if you look on Facebook and Twitter you can find that many passengers like to take selfies with Eclipse and post them on their pages. As one passenger stated, “It is much more pleasant to share the commute with a happy, tail wagging passenger rather than a grumpy and angry passenger.”

While many people complain about the crowded and slow public transportation in other areas, those who take this particular bus are always excited about the possibility of sharing their ride with this friendly pooch on their morning commute. The three-year-old black Mastador is now the most popular Belltown Bus Rider in the City of Seattle.
