Introduction

The Fugitive is a 1993 action drama film based on the 1960 Roy Huggins’ television series of the same name. The film stars Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones in the lead roles and centers on Dr. Richard Kimble (played by Ford), a renowned surgeon who was wrongfully accused of his wife’s murder and was unjustly given the death penalty. After a wreck gives him an opportunity to escape from custody, he sets out to find the real murderer and prove his innocence. Deputy Samuel Gerard (portrayed by Jones) leads a team of U.S. Marshals assigned to pursue Kimble and bring him to justice.

The Fugitive Inspired Dog Name Considerations

Getting a dog is one of the biggest events in your life; it is a time when you decide to care for another living creature and provide them with all their needs. The feeling you get when you meet your new furry buddy is indescribable and a moment that you will treasure for the rest of your existence. By having a new pooch, you can expect your life to be ten times more fun, adventurous and even chaotic! After all, a dog can have a mischievous streak every now and then.

Apart from giving your dog a warm welcome to their new home, one of the first things that you need to do is pick a name. As easy as that sounds, a lot of dog owners feel stumped and lack the creative juices to come up with the right moniker for their four-legged pal. One of the best ways to name your dog is to find an inspiration. This can come from all kinds of references, including different pop culture works, famous personalities or even other popular canine characters.

Aside from pop culture, another source of inspiration for a name is your dog’s personal traits. Lots of furparents pick names based on their dog’s attributes, such as personality, temperament, color, size, and the like. What you can do is find the quality that stands out the most in your dog and make a decision based on that.
