Introduction
Taken Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
Rambo's tale starts with a phone call, much like Brian Mills'. After searching for an infamous war criminal named Ashraf Na'alwa, the Israeli counter-terrorism unit received an anonymous tip-off that led them to the city of Nablus. Rambo immediately took charge once the team hit the scene. Thanks to his keen senses and extensive training, Rambo led the counter-terrorist unit to a disheveled home. The team reasoned that Rambo had led them to Na'alwa's hideout and that the warlord was hiding somewhere in the building.
The counter-terrorist team devised a meticulous plan to capture Na'alwa after sensing the gravity of the situation. Rambo was to enter the building, sniff out Na'alwa without getting detected, then return to the team and lead them to their target. The team created a good plan, but even the best-laid plans can get disrupted by unexpected circumstances. Rambo snuck inside the building, but was almost immediately shot at by Na'alwa! The team believed that Rambo died on the scene of the crime. To their collective amazement, Rambo managed to drag himself out of the house and back to the team's location!
Shortly after that, the team got into a brief gunfight with Na'alwa. The Israeli counter-terrorists were able to neutralize Na'alwa quickly, completing their mission with enough time to rescue Rambo from death's door. Currently, Rambo looks to be in good health; he's recovering from his injuries and undergoing an extensive rehabilitation process. Rambo's actions made him a hero in the eyes of the public. Even the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, honored the courageous canine. To this day, Rambo is one of the few dogs who has been allowed to visit Beit HaNasi - the prestigious home of the President of Israel.
Taken Inspired Dog Name Considerations
The Taken franchise isn't for everyone - you aren't going to be blown away by the series' writing or moved to tears by anyone's acting performances - but you can have an incredibly fun time if you suspend your disbelief. Despite the series' production design and marketing campaigns, the series has more in line with the over the top action films of the 1980s than any sort somber, serious films. If you enjoy movies like Commando, Cobra, Roadhouse, or anything that stars Steven Seagal, then you'll love the Taken franchise. Consider giving your dog a Taken inspired name if you're a fan of this series. We'll list a slew of names down below that you can bestow upon your pup.
