Slayers Revolution Inspired Dog Names

Jimmy Zoppi is one of the voice actors who lent his smooth vocal cords to dub the English version of Slayers Revolution as the character Vrumgun. We all know that actors lead very fancy lives, surrounded by lights and cameras and endless fashionable designer clothes coming to them for each award show they frequent. Sometimes, it is quite refreshing to hear of someone else who also dabbles in fashion just like these famous people do, and that someone is a lovely white Bull Terrier who happens to share a name with Mr. Zoppi.

Back in 2014, Jimmy Choo, an adorable Bull Terrier, and his human, Rafael Mantesso, posted some fantastic art they created together. Raphael started posting photos of his dog on Instagram when his wife left him and took pretty much everything he had. In an empty house, surrounded by white walls, Rafael spent a lot of time with Jimmy being sad but then decided to pick himself up and use his creativity to get himself out of depression. He figured that his beloved Jimmy is the perfect model for the whimsical photographs we wanted to create. He began to draw around his sleeping puppo and post his photos on Instagram. And people loved it. Almost instantly he gained hundreds of thousands of followers, people were tagging each other in the comments, talking about how adorable the pupper is, and how the photographs made their day better.

This huge interest in their art caught the attention of many people around the world, and the Brazilian duo got a book deal! Rafael published a book named A Dog Named Jimmy, and as you guessed it, Jimmy Choo is the star of it. The book is comprised of one hundred photographs, all taken by a professional photographer with Rafael’s creative input. We believe Jimmy had a say in them too, as he surely has a favorite costume and drawing around him that he prefers. So, what can you see in the book? For starters, Jimmy rocking out with a sweet mohawk, playing pretend with deer antlers, sleeping peacefully with butterfly wings, and taking a relaxing shower. Sometimes, he is a part of the band Kiss, peacefully yawning into a microphone, or being shot out of a cannon as a part of a magician’s trick. This book about an adorable dog is a perfect gift for a dog lover or something that you would keep for yourself, because why not? We all need some more Jimmy in our lives.
