Introduction

The Disney channel sitcom, Pair of Kings originally aired in September of 2010 and followed the lives of fraternal twins Brady and Boomer as they navigate the transition from life as normal high school students in Chicago to life as the co-kings of a magical hidden island called Kinkow in the Kalooki sea. Mason Makoola, the royal advisor and bodyguard, along with his daughter Mikayla, helps to guide the brothers as they learn to navigate as rulers of the island and dodge assassination attempts by their cousin Lanny. During the last season, Brady leaves to "become the man he needs to be," and Boz, the king of a nearby island that had recently sunk, was revealed as a third brother, and the twins discovered to be triplets.

Pair of Kings Inspired Dog Name Considerations

There are many ways for new pet parents to choose a name for their canine companions. Many will choose a name based on a person or place that means something special to them, while others may choose to select a name that is related to the dog's intended purpose, like Blitz for a shepherding dog or Tracker for a hunting hound. Another commonly used option for pet parents is to choose a name that is based on a book, movie, or television show that they particularly enjoy, such as Disney's television show, Pair of Kings. The sitcom, which ran from September of 2010 until February 2013, has several places, people, and even objects that can provide the inspiration needed to find the perfect name for your pooch.

Large dogs may be well served by names like Atog, Giki-Kiki, or Yeti, while a small dog may find names like Pupaley or Screechy to be a better fit. If you have a dog that loves water, you can consider a name like Hibachi, after one of the island's surfers, or Kalooki, after the sea that the island of Kinkow is located in, while a dog that has a natural talent for sniffing things out will suit a name like Mr. Boogie. There are also several good names for pairs of dogs, like Hesta and Desta, Kunu and Annabella, or Malakai and Kalakai.
