Introduction
Notting Hill Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
Even though we would like to think that dogs are always loved and cared for, that isn't necessarily the case. For instance, Julia was a 2 year old wolf hybrid breed that was abandoned on the streets of L.A. When the dog rescue group of that area, Hope for Paws, stumbled across her, Julia was starving, swollen, and her coat was a complete mess. Around her neck was an old rope that represented ownership at one time, however there was no doubt the past owner had not cared for Julia in the slightest. Not only was she skin and bones, but her paws were swollen and the long nails on her feet were causing a good deal of pain. Yet, despite all this, Julia was merely timid and not at all aggressive towards her helpers. Coaxed with a bit of food, Hope for Paws was able to secure Julia and get her taken back to their headquarters. There, a team of vets began the process of bringing Julia towards a full recovery. After a long bath in order to help sooth her mange and swallowing a bit of food, Julia was exhausted but safe. She settled down to sleep and her faithful caregivers checked in on her through the night to make sure that all was well.
Although it was determined at the time that Julia's trip to recovery would be a long one, she had the best care possible and everyone was positive that she would be just fine. Her life was a hard one and she couldn't even bring herself to wag her tail in thanks. Instead, she simply buried her head in the arm whoever was close to her as a sign of affection; and everyone knew just how thankful this little wolf hybrid was. Julia's story took place in 2016 and upon her recovery, she was transported to a foster home through the A.R.T. N Paws Animal Rescue agency. Thanks to such wonderful and caring people who took the time to pay attention to a small, bedraggled animal on the street, Julia can now have another chance at the life she was meant to have. Being able to own a dog is such a wonderful gift, and as their caregivers, it is our responsibility to make sure they are well taken care of and loved. Dogs like Julia exist all over the world and some aren't as lucky to get a second chance at being loved. So give your pup a hug and give a reminder of just how much you love them (even though they may not understand what is going on), because a dog is truly one of the best friends we can ever know!
Notting Hill Inspired Dog Names
A few examples of some perfect breeds for a Notting Hill Inspired Name may be the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Airedale Terrier, English Bulldog, Labrador Retriever, and the Corgi. These are just a handful of the many British breeds that exist in the world and each one is an excellent candidate for a moniker that embraces one of the most interesting places in London! Just imagine a peppy, prissy little Corgi with the name of "Pembridge" or may be even "Corelli". A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel would obviously bare names like "King" and "Kensington" extremely well, but one that may seem out of the ordinary could be something such as "Cobble" or "Kippie". There is no doubt that Notting Hill themed names offer a unique and fun twist to a moniker, just like the interesting architecture and culture that flows through the streets.
You don't need to own a British breed in order to enjoy one of these unique names, as we are positive that any dog could make titles such as these work well! If you are a lover of the movie, place, or just idea of Notting Hill, there is going to be something here for you and your furry friend.
