Introduction
Multiversity Inspired Dog Names In Pop Culture
On a day that started like any other, Rova interviewed a superstar named Byrd Rentals in the city of Follywood. Unbeknownst to Rova or Rentals, a cataclysmic battle was taking place in outer space. Starro the Conqueror was fighting a group of heroes; despite their best efforts, the heroes were unable to get the better of Starro. In a desperate attempt to defeat the devious starfish, the heroes threw a meteor at Starro. The Conqueror deflected most of the space rock, sending a few meteor fragments hurtling towards Earth-C. Most of the pieces burned up in the atmosphere, but the few that didn't were on a collision course with Rova and Rentals!
Byrd Rentals and Rova Barkitt were unable to dodge the meteor fragments. Rather than harm Rova or Rentals, the meteorites bonded with them. After the dust settled from the ordeal, Rova discovered that she possessed the power of "animal magnetism." With her right hand, Rova could now project blue colored stars and repel objects away from her. With her left hand, Rova could emit bands of red and white stripes that pulled objects towards her. Byrd Rentals also developed a unique set of powers. Finding themselves in the same boat, Rova and Rentals resolved to use their abilities for the greater good.
Rova and Rentals soon encountered a group of other animals who were granted powers by the meteorites. The empowered animals decided to team up and stop Starro from causing any further harm. With the aid of Superman, the group sent Starro packing. In the aftermath, Rova and the other animals agreed to stick together. They formed a superhero group called the Zoo Crew and continued to protect Earth-C as an animal analog to the Justice League.
Multiversity Inspired Name Considerations
The characters created specifically for the Multiversity limited series are also intriguing and memorable in their own right. The Gentry are the main bad guys of the limited series - The Empty Hand and his generals lead them. There are also other villains who have a history with some of Multiversity's heroes - Lord Havok and The Dark Monitor are two of the most dangerous foes that come to mind. Consider naming your pet after them if you like evil characters just as much as you like heroes.
