Introduction

Multiversity is the name of a limited comic book series published by DC Comics. Originally running from October 2014 to June 2015, Multiversity brought together heroes from every corner of DC's expansive multiverse to fight an enigmatic foe known as the Empty Hand. Multiversity brought many previously obscure heroes and heroines to the fore, giving these relatively unknown crimefighters some much-needed exposure. Legendary Scottish comic book writer Grant Morrison wrote for all nine of the Multiversity comics. Conversely, each issue in the Multiversity series featured a different artist. The constant change of artists allowed a myriad of creatives to display their talents while Morrison kept the story grounded and focused.

Multiversity Inspired Name Considerations

If you're a fan of DC Comics and you're looking for a cool name to give to your dog, you should consider honoring your pet with a Multiversity inspired name. This limited series featured a multitude of diverse and exciting characters. Some characters are alternate versions of established heroes - like Calvin "Kalel"  Ellis, who's the Superman of Earth 23. Other figures featured in Multiversity are callbacks to earlier periods in DC Comics' long and storied history. Captain Carrot is a perfect example of this; he's a cartoon character that was created by Roy Thomas and Scott Shaw back in 1982. There are a plethora of Multiversity inspired names that you could potentially give to your dog. We'll list plenty of Multiversity inspired names down below, as well as a few names inspired by DC Comics trivia.

The characters created specifically for the Multiversity limited series are also intriguing and memorable in their own right. The Gentry are the main bad guys of the limited series - The Empty Hand and his generals lead them. There are also other villains who have a history with some of Multiversity's heroes - Lord Havok and The Dark Monitor are two of the most dangerous foes that come to mind. Consider naming your pet after them if you like evil characters just as much as you like heroes.
