Introduction
Max Steel Inspired Dog Names In Pop Culture
Furbo got to show everyone what he was made of (one of the few times that statement can be taken literally) during "Animal Attraction." The episode begins with Max and Steel discussing the merits of pet ownership but it doesn't really start until Berto presents our heroes with Furbo. Steel more or less claims responsibility for the dog and spends the most time with him early on - Steel teaches Furbo a few simple tricks before endeavoring to help the dog distinguish friend from foe. Incidentally, Furbo's ability to separate loved ones from evil doers would soon be put to the test.
Max and Steel are soon called upon to complete a high stakes mission for N-Tek. Against the wishes of Max and Steel's Commander Forge Ferrus, Furbo is brought along for the mission. Things quickly go South during the operation, however, and the mission ends in failure. Commander Ferrus blames Furbo for distracting Max and Steel, proclaiming that the two would have easily been able to succeed if they weren't preoccupied with Furbo.
Initially upset, Furbo runs off on his own and ends up separated from the others. When Furbo finally encounters another person, he finds himself face to face with one of Max and Steel's greatest foes - Extroyer! Furbo puts his considerable talents to work and manages to steal a high value object right from Extroyer's person. Extroyer chases after Furbo and mortally injures the robotic dog. All hope seems lost until Max, Steel, and another of their cybernetic comrades come to the rescue. The N-Tek team is able to fend off Extroyer and return Furbo to Berto - who repairs the dog just before the episode's end.
Max Steel Inspired Dog Name Considerations
It's also not impossible for someone to have been a fan of either of the shows, movies, or games associated with the Max Steel brand while also having never played with any of the toys personally. Both shows drew a fair of inspiration from the likes of Johnny Quest and even James Bond - leading both shows to inadvertently attract a number of older fans. These fans, in particular, may not have been interested in playing with any of the toys but they most certainly enjoyed writing, characters, and action sequences that made the Max Steel franchise so popular. If you're one of those fans, then you might also want to consider giving your dog a Max Steel inspired name.
