Introduction
Master of None Dog Names in Pop Culture
Our first dog with a Master of None inspired name is named Eddie. One of the most famous television dogs in the world was Eddie, the Jack Russell Terrier on Frasier. Eddie was played by a pooch named Moose. Moose was born on Christmas Eve in 1990. He was the youngest in the litter, but also the largest. He was hard to handle, but that didn't stop Moose from landing the role of Eddie after just six months of training. While Eddie was Moose's largest role, he was also known as Old Skip in My Dog Skip.
Moose retired and spent the last six and a half years of his life as a retired pooch in West Los Angeles with his son, named Enzo, and their trainer Mathilda DeCagny. Enzo was bred to take Moose's place as Eddie on Frasier. Moose died at 15 in 2006, and he is forever known for his eight years on Frasier from 1993 to 2000.
Brian is our second famous pooch with a Master of None name. Brian is the animated talking dog from the television show Family Guy. Brian is voiced by the show's creator Seth MacFarlane. As a member of the Griffin family, he has to deal with all of the antics of the rest of the family, of which he might be the most normal. Brian works as a struggling writer. Brian is a white dog who sports a red collar. He is highly anthropomorphized throughout the series and is much more like a human than a dog. Not only can Brian talk, but he also tends to walk on his hind legs and has opposable thumbs like a person. Brian is even said to have graduated from Brown University. While Eddie is very much portrayed as a normal dog, Brian is really treated more like a human throughout Family Guy.
Master of None Dog Name Considerations
While it seems like picking a name for a dog should be easy, there are so many different names to choose from, which can make it an extremely difficult process. And if you don't want a boring dog name like Fido, then you will likely have to resort to searching the Internet for a long list of suitable names. However, one way to quickly narrow down your name search is to pick a movie or television show that you love to find a name within.
If you are going to draw inspiration from a movie or TV show, make sure it is one that you adore. Once you have decided on a source of inspiration, you can start looking for names and places from the source.
If you love the show Master of None, then you know that there are a lot of great characters and actors to draw inspiration from. You might want to choose the name of a character with a similar look or personality as your pooch. Is your dog more of a Dev or Brian? Does she look like Francesca or Rachel? No matter what name you go with, make sure it is a name that you will want to call your dog for the rest of their life.
