Limitless Inspired Dog Name Considerations

What’s in a name? For your dog, a name should not only sound cool; you also need to take into account several other factors. How easily your dog can memorize the name? Is it clear enough to understand? Does it fit your dog’s personality? These are just some of the questions you have to ask yourself before you choose and settle on a name for your four-legged pal.

One of the first things to take into account is how the name sounds. A key thing to remember when choosing a name is how easily your dog can understand the name when you call it out loud. In this case, you would want a name that has a clear and sharp sound such as names starting with letters C, D, or T. Names that have long “E” sounds also work well for dog names.

Another consideration would be the length of the name. If possible, choose a name that does not go beyond two to three syllables. You should not go overboard with the name and try to keep it as short and succinct as possible so that your dog can learn it right away. In any case, longer names should have shortened versions. For instance, the name “Edward”, the lead character in Limitless, can be shortened to “Eddie”, which is a more dog-friendly name.
