Introduction
Legends of Tomorrow is the superhero fiction TV series based on the characters from DC Comics. It was developed by Phil Klemmer, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Greg Berlanti, and it is technically considered a spin off of the Arrow and The Flash. The premise of the show follows the Time Master, Rip Hunter, who, in the attempt to stop Vandal Savage, recruits a team of meta-humans. The team consists of Ray Palmer, known as Atom, Sara Lance, known as White Canary, Martin Stein and Jax Jackson as Firestorm, Hawkgirl and Hawkman, Captain Cold, and Heat Wave. The team known as Legends of Tomorrow travels through time trying to stop the evil Time Masters and Vandal Savage, as well as other baddies that threaten the world.
Legends of Tomorrow Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
Getting a new puppy is usually a very happy occurrence in most households. Children love them, parents love them, even grandma loves them, and a new member of the family is always a reason for celebration. Getting a new pup means having new, exciting memories made with an adorable furry creature that will take your heart and make you love them forever. But, sometimes, people can overestimate their ability to care for another living being and having a dog becomes overwhelming. Sadly, many dogs end up on the streets because of irresponsible dog owners, or people who simply cannot care for a dog, and one of such dogs was Ronnie, an adorable mongrel who was actually the first homeless dog in London in 2018.
Little Ronnie was bought online as a Christmas present, however, his owner sadly became homeless and had to give the lovely doggo away. That is how Ronnie ended up in the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. His previous owner said that she got him as a Christmas gift from her former partner, but that she simply could not take care of him anymore due to losing her own home. The manager of the Home stated that he is not surprised that Ronnie became homeless after being bought online. He says that nowadays, there are a lot of unregulated websites where many people choose to buy dogs, without proper research and preparation, and many of those dogs end up on the streets, or, if they are lucky, in one of the Homes for unwanted animals. He also believes that selling pets online is wrong, and that poor Ronnie was probably taken from his mother far too early, as these shady breeders do not really care about the welfare of the animal, only about profit.
Online shopping has become widespread, but there should be some limitations when it comes to it. Shopping online for clothes, shoes, or gadgets is easy and straightforward, and most of all, completely harmless, however, when it comes to the living being, things become a bit more complicated. Dogs require care, they need responsible people who will not sell them to unreliable owners too early, and most of all, the seller needs to be reputable so you can make sure that the animal is properly vaccinated and well raised before you get them.
Luckily for Ronnie, he did manage to find a new home. He was rescued by a lovely family of four who cannot wait to start sharing their lives with him. The adorable puppy will surely better their lives, and they will undoubtedly do the same for him, as he is already best friends with the children who got the best New Year’s present ever!
Legends of Tomorrow Inspired Dog Name Considerations
Watching Legends of Tomorrow might inspire you to chase your dream of being a superhero, or it may inspire you to name your new pup after one of the characters from the series. Since the series is technically a spin off of the Arrow and The Flash, you could easily use the whole Arrowverse as your inspiration. So, find a character that you like and use their name as the new moniker for your puppy. For example, one of such names can be Stein, after Dr. Martin Stein, one half of the meta-human Firestorm, or even Jax, after Jefferson Jackson, the other half of Firestorm.
Ray Palmer or Atom, Rip Hunter, or Sara Lance are all fantastic choices, and also the names of the characters from the series. Rip Hunter is a time traveler and the leader of the Legends, while Ray Palmer, also known as Atom, is a super-smart businessman who developed the Atom suit. Sara Lance is, of course, the White Canary, a vigilante and the former member of the League of Assassins, so her name can be the name of your doggo as well, especially if your pup is a fierce lady like Sara is.
