A few years ago, a dog was found in a cardboard box on the side of the road. Inside the box were her thirteen puppies all of whom were close to starvation. The dog and puppies were brought to an emergency clinic and, while only nine puppies survived, they were brought back to health. The mother dog was adopted and named Star and her puppies were all adopted as well to various families. Everything was going great!

However, Star's health took a turn for the worse and she began to suffer from kidney failure. Star was refusing to eat and was not getting any better. Star would need a kidney transplant in order to survive.

Star's owner reached out to the owner of Star's puppy, who had been named Elsa, and asked if the family would agree to have Elsa donate her kidneys to save her mom's life. Elsa's family discussed it and the kids in the family thought that Elsa would be a complete hero if she was able to save her mom's life. Of course, they agreed! Elsa was set to have surgery and donate her kidney to her mom.

On the day of the surgery, Elsa's family dressed her in a super hero cape and then the dog went into surgery. Both Elsa and Star had successful operations and both pups were set to make a full recovery and go on to live happy lives. Elsa was a superhero and she definitely saved the day!

Another famous dog named Elsa is the French Mastiff that was found on the side of the road in England. Elsa was skin and bones, unable to walk and a horiffic sight when she was discovered. A shelter took her in and slowly nursed her back to health. Elsa was quickly adopted (receiving thousands of requests to adopt) by a mom and daughter duo who had just recently lost their two dogs suddenly. Elsa helped heal her new owners' suffering and, in turn, her new owners are helping Elsa lead a life full of food and love.
