Hancock Inspired Dog Name Considerations

Whether you are a first-time dog parent or you’ve been at it for a while, one of the first things that you will have to do is to find the perfect name for your new pooch. Even though you may think it is easy to think of a name, you have to remember that there are so many options to choose from. Also, you will have to find a name that not only sounds nice but one that your dog positively responds to.

If you do not know where to start, one tip for choosing a name is to take ideas from the famous. There are plenty of well-known dogs, in fiction and in real life, whose names you may use for your own furbaby. Dog actors or canine characters in film, television and other forms of media are a dime a dozen, all of which can help you come up with a name. For example, Hancock star Charlize Theron owns a number of rescued dogs (e.g. Tucker, Orson) who have become famous in their own right because of their well-known fur mommy. If you are a fan of Theron, you can also name your pooch after hers.

You can also use a pop culture reference as a name of your dog. Your personal favorites and preferences are a good place to start. It could be anything from your favorite movie, show, music and the like. For instance, fans of the film Hancock can name their dog after the film’s characters, actors or even the crew members.
