Guinea Dog Names

Milo River rises in the Simandou Mountains near Beyla and flows for about 12 miles to the south of Siguiri, where it becomes one of the main tributaries of the River Niger. Milo is also the name of a few well-known pups.

A Terrier named Milo has been filling the role of guide dog for his “brother”, a Labrador Retriever named Eddie. Milo is six and Eddie is seven and they live in Cardiff, Wales with their owner Angie Baker-Stedham. According to Baker-Stedham, Milo functions as Eddie’s eyes and will even lead the pup around by his leash when necessary. Both pups would chase after dog toys before Eddie lost his sight. Now, Eddie relies on Milo to help him play and continue spending time in the woods. Milo makes sure to watch out for his canine sibling and even sits on his back when Eddie lies down. Baker-Stedham stated that Eddie went blind relatively quickly and Milo took action without any prompting or training. He will even lead Eddie back to Baker-Stedham when she calls for him. According to Baker-Stedham, Milo will lick Eddie’s face and they spend all of their time together. Milo wears bells on his collar so that Eddie can follow him and if Eddie wanders off, Milo will track him down and bring him back.

Another dog named Milo gained attention for the special relationship he shares with a lion. A Dachshund puppy, Milo was introduced to Bonedigger, a lion, when they were about four weeks old and they have been together ever since. The lion was born with a bone disease that led to his being partially disabled. They get along so well, that Milo even helps Bonedigger by picking his teeth. Three other dogs were introduced to Bonedigger as puppies along with Milo, though it seems that the lion shares the closest relationship with Milo, who even copies his lion pal by letting out high-pitched roars.

Yet another Milo is a hit on the canine fashion scene. A tiny Maltese from Toronto, Milo likes to look good and his social media pages are filled with photos of the pup dressed in the latest trends. He has even launched his own clothing line! Weighing a mere four pounds, the pup is independent and intelligent, enjoying doing tricks and completing dog puzzles, as well as posing for photos.
