Introduction
Flightplan Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
Kyle is a professional woman and mother in the movie, “Flightplan,” but Kyle the dog is a weird black, fuzzy pooch that belongs to Felonius Gru in the animated films, “Despicable Me,” “Despicable Me 2,” and “Despicable Me 3.” Although Kyle is supposed to be a dog, he looks more like a monster and acts a bit crazy.
Sometimes Kyle will attack Gru and even bites him on a regular basis, but since Gru is actually a bad guy in the films, nobody seems to mind him doing so. While Kyle is typically aggressive and vicious, he is also afraid of just about anything and runs to hide whenever anyone comes to his secret lair. He is also afraid of Agnes, who actually loves the silly monster dog.
In fact, Agnes calls Kyle her fluffy doggy and asks Gru what breed he is but Gru says he has no idea. Since Gru and Kyle do not seem to get along and Agnes actually loves the poochie, Agnes takes the pooch as her own. At her birthday party, she dresses him up as a dragon and then he is tasked with defending her house.
However, there is some controversy over whether or not Kyle is really a canine at all. For example, Kyle has been alive for over 40 years, and this is impawsible for a dog. Also, he is more intelligent than any dog on Earth, understands English, takes pictures at Gru and Lucy’s wedding, and poses for the camera when asked to smile.
Because of his huge and sharp pointy teeth, many people believe that Kyle is part piranha. In addition, Kyle does not see himself as a dog at all. In fact, he growls at anyone who says he is a dog. Some people believe that Kyle is a Chupacabra, which is a mythical dragon dog with spikes and large pointy fangs.
No matter what people think Kyle is, one thing he is for sure is pawpular. The pooch/unpooch has his own following on social media and even starred in his own mini-movie called “The Secret Life of Kyle” about what the animal does when Gru and his family are not around. Have you ever wondered what your pupster does when you are not at home?
Take a look at the four-minute mini-movie attached to the “Despicable Me 3” film or find it on the internet. Kyle is shown getting into all kinds of mischief just trying to deliver a present to a Poodle that he really likes. Kyle gets into a fight with a larger pooch that likes the Poodle as well. Watch this funny film to see what you think.
Flightplan Inspired Dog Name Considerations
You have probably seen or heard about people who bring their canine kids aboard airplanes to travel with them. In fact, some of them are actually allowed to ride in the cabin with the passengers. Whether you have to take an airplane to go get your new poochie or get them right up the street, you will be needing some important things for them. For instance, a cozy doggy bed to sleep in would be nice, as would a collar and leash to go for walks. Your pupster would also enjoy some fun toys to play with, bones to munch on, tasty kibble, and plenty of treats. You will also need a veterinarian and of course, the perfect name.
Choosing the right moniker is not difficult but may take some time. Until then, you can just call your furry family member "dog". You may want to choose a name that corresponds with their appearance, such as Raven or Jet for a black pooch or Fairey for a petite pup. Picking a title according to their personality is also a fun way to do it. Consider Captain for a bossy pooch, Rowdy or Spitfire for a hyper dog, or Loud for that noisy pooch. Here are some other pawesome names to pick from.
