Boo, a tiny Pomeranian, was born in 2006. The creamy colored dog has become a social media celebrity with millions of followers, and his photos produce millions of likes. The small sheared and fluffy pooch has been called the, "cutest dog in the world" by his many fans. Even Kim Kardashian took notice of the peach-colored pooch. Singer Keisha calls the tiny canine her "boyfriend."  Undoubtedly, the cute little pom has gained true star power. 

Initially, Boo looked like any other Pomeranian, but his fur became so matted that he required a haircut. His unique hairstyle is what shot the tiny dog to fame. It gave him a fluffy look that was different than most poms. The small dog quickly started to grab hearts around the world. Nowadays, if you run a Google search using the terms, "the world's cutest dog"  Boo's picture takes center stage. 

Rumors abound when it comes to Boo's Facebook fame. Many believe that the dog's owner, Irene Ahn, used her status and position at Facebook to push the dog's popularity.  Even with a famous book about Boo and a guest appearance on Good Morning America, Ahn remains out of the spotlight and only directs all eyes and praise towards Boo. 

Even if Boo's social media success has been pushed by upscale marketing and a few insider tips, it honestly doesn't matter because what stands out is the fact that Boo has managed to attain real star power. His importance with fans around the world is undeniable. People share his photos and posts on a daily basis. Fans log in to see his cute little face. Also, his books do very well with young and old alike. 

Boo's first book, "Boo: The Life of the World's Cutest Dog" has been published in ten languages around the world.  His second book, "Boo: Little Dog in the Big City" has also skyrocketed on the charts. His merchandise now includes a calendar and a Gund stuffed toy pet.  The tiny pooch has even scored a career position as the Offical Pet Liaison for Virgin America Airlines.
