Dog Names Ending in ri

Bri was spotted in the center of an icy pond, holding onto a sheet of ice while the rest of her body was submerged. Firefighters were notified of the dog in distress and they responded immediately. Dressed in a dry suit, a firefighter slid across the frozen ice to reach Bri, a maneuver that distributes the person's weight and helps prevent the ice from breaking further. As the firefighter shimmied his way toward Bri, the dog waited patiently, not moving or barking. If you didn't know the water was so cold, it would look like Bri was just relaxing in the water! However, when the firefighter reached Bri, the dog grabbed on to him and did not let go.

While it was unclear the immediate location of Bri's owners or how the dog got loose on the pond in the first place, Bri was deemed healthy and unharmed from the chilly water. The firefighters all stressed the importance of keeping dogs on leashes at all times and also warned people to stay off the icy ponds - they may seem solid but they can crack at any minute! Bri was lucky she was saved quickly.

Another famous dog with a name ending in "ri" is a pup named Tori who has been lucky enough to be a movie star. Tori is actually featured in two period pieces as Queen Victoria's pup, Dash. Apparently, Tori has quite the likeness to the real Dash! Tori can be seen playing this part in the TV show, Victoria, and also in the movie, The Young Victoria. One of Tori's best talents is playing dead, a skill that came in handy when on set as she had to pretend to die in season two of Victoria. The actors on set all gave Tori a round of applause as she laid so still, some believed she really had died (don't worry, she was fine!). Tori is definitely the secret star of the show.
