On the third day of Kalu’s recovery, he ate some food. On the fifth day, his remaining eye started to reappear.

With time and regular care, Kalu’s fur started to grow back, his wound began to heal, and his destroyed muzzle started to regenerate as well. Kalu was on the mend. After three months, Kalu was an entirely new dog.
