Dog Names Ending in ci

CiCi lived in Cleveland with her owners until one day, they just moved away, leaving her behind. Such a selfish and cruel act was not something that a sweet dog like CiCi could understand so the pup simply waited in her yard, day after day, for her family to come home. Neighbors saw CiCi hanging around by her home and tried catch her to bring her to a shelter of some sort. After all, the people knew that the family was never coming back for CiCi. However, the dog resisted and would run away when a stranger neared. She did not want to go with anyone but just wanted to go home. CiCi waited vigilantly for almost two years.

A woman named Angeline Dzadony saw CiCi every day and stated that the pup looked so alone, sitting like a soldier at attention, just waiting for her family. Dzadony started bringing CiCi food which she would leave in the yard for the pup to enjoy on her own. While Dzadony already had two dogs of her own, she knew she had to help take care of this abandoned pup. 

Finally, Dzadony gave herself two weeks to gain the trust of CiCi and capture her. On Christmas Eve, she walked toward CiCi with a leash and a collar and the dog finally allowed her to slip the collar on and take her home. Dzadony's daughter said that she was unsure how her 66 year old mother would be able to care for three dogs but she was sure she would find a way. 

It turns out that Dzadony rescued CiCi just in time as it was discovered that the dog had heartworms. Dzadony began treatment on CiCi and the pup began to recover. In true Christmas spirit, people who saw CiCi's story in the news were all touched by Dzadony's selfless act of rescuing the dog. Many sent her donations for CiCi's care, dog food and pet store gift cards. All of this will greatly help Dzadony take on the medical bills facing CiCi and also aid her in the pups day to day care. 

CiCi has settled into her new home well and it is guaranteed that she will never be abandoned again.
