Beau frequently visits the local hospital as part of the Neuromedicine Interdisciplinary Clinical and Academic Program. He will go around to each room, allowing his sweet nature to calm patients who have been in the hospital for whatever reason. Sydney Fuller, an intern who brings Beau from room to room, said that the dog's energy always puts a smile on the faces of the patients. She went on to talk about how a happy dog can help break the sadness that is typical in the hospital. Many patients have just received bad news, are recovering from surgery or are simply bored being stuck inside day after day. Beau helps them break through it all! Great job Beau!
