Coyote Ugly Inspired Dog Names

Piper is an incredibly smart pup who has been working at the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse, Michigan for years. She is one of two dogs who are employed by the airport in order to help chase away birds. The quick as a whip dog chases birds off of the tarmac that would otherwise cause flight delays or even damage airplanes. Not only was Piper's job extremely important but it also made the pup quite famous.

Piper was featured in many of the airport's Instagram photos and gathered quite the following on social media. Piper was interviewed (along with her handler of course) by many websites and became the ambassador of the area. How could the friendly dog face not be featured everywhere? 

Piper showed up to work for years with her famous goggles on, ready to chase birds as fast as she could. Sadly, Piper passed away after fighting prostate cancer for over a year. Everyone in the area mourned her death as she had become a staple at the airport and a sign of home for all those returning to Michigan. However, Piper lived a good life and helped everyone in her path...except the birds she chased away who probably were not her biggest fans. 

Another dog named Piper who made headlines was a pup in Fairfax County, Virginia. Piper is just an everyday dog, living with her handler and her brother Browser. Browser, however, is not a regular dog but a police dog in training. Browser goes to training during the day and comes home at night to play with his sister, Piper.

One day, Piper and Browser decided to go on an adventure. The two dogs escaped their yard and could not be found. Of course, a trained police dog is of high priority! After searching for hours, the two dogs casually made their way home around 9 pm that night. There was no indication of where they had been and both Piper and Browser appeared completely safe. To this day, they still haven't told their handler about their adventure - it will remain a mystery!
