Introduction

Code Geass is a popular anime series created by Sunrise that originated from a manga. It is set in an alternate timeline, and the story focuses on Lelouch vi Britannia, a former prince, who obtains the power of Geass and uses it to decimate the Holy Britannian Empire. The world is divided into three superpowers: the Holy Britannian Empire, the Chinese Federation, and the European Union. The Holy Britannian Empire occupies and conquers Japan and strips its citizens of all their freedom. Therefore, Lelouch vows to destroy Britannia to free Japan and to have vengeance on his father, Charles.
