Castlevania Dog Name Considerations

Here's the thing: dogs get to enjoy way more name inspirations than humans. It's great! Think about it, for humans, names are all about religion, ideas, morals, maybe location or even specific tribes or kingdoms. For dogs, it can be almost anything. It can be as complex as a family history, if you know his origin, or it can be as simple as what toy is his absolute favorite. It can be all about what food he likes, what he spends most of his time doing, whether he gets along with other animals or not, and how social he is with strangers.

And as amazing as it is to know that there is nothing that can't be used as inspiration for your dog's name, it can also be pretty overwhelming. There's just too many options. The best course of action to take then is to simplify things a little by eliminating the names or sources of inspiration that you don't like.

For instance, maybe you know you don't want to name your dog after food. Maybe you also think naming your dog after squeaky toys isn't your cup of tea. That automatically removes those sources of inspiration. Keep weeding these out until you pinpoint what you do want to use, such as historical connections.
