Introduction
Casino Royale Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
James Hound is a play on the character, James Bond, who is the main character in “Casino Royale” as well as 25 other films. The show is actually portrayed on the children’s animated series, “Arthur,” which is shown on many channels in the United States, Canada, and Australia. In the “Arthur” cartoon, James Hound is a British secret service agent like James Bond.
However, James Hound is more of a comedy than a drama as the hound is very clumsy and makes tons of mistakes but somehow still manages to get the bad guy in the end. Still, the silly pooch does some amazing stunts similar to James Bond such as skilled motorcycle riding, flying with a jetpack, being chased by villains, jumping out of buildings, and jumping from an airplane.
Although Arthur and his friends pawsitively love the promo of the film “James Hound” they see on television, they are too young to see the movie themselves because it is rated PG-13. This means you have to be 13 years old or older to see the film. That gives Arthur the idea to make his own movie with himself starring as James Hound.
In the movie that Arthur makes, Muffy is the director since she is the only one with a video camera. Arthur and his friends decide to do the scene where James Hound is riding his motorcycle and blows dust at two of the villains chasing him so he can get away. Brain and Buster play the two villains who are chasing him. They use their bicycles as motorcycles since they are not old enough to drive yet.
In the reenactment, Arthur (as James Hound) is riding his bike and squirts baby powder over his shoulder to hit Brain and Buster but it ends up blowing in his own face, and he crashes his bike. So, they decide to do a different scene, which also ends up to be a flop. They think their entire movie is bad until they show it to Prunella, who loves it, which makes them all happy.
The “real” James Hound made 17 different short films from 1966 to 1967 where he battles villains such as Dr. Ha-Ha, The Monster Master, Mr. Big, Ms. Q, Chop Chop, Dr. Rhineshtone, and Baron Von Go-Go. Some of the films are quite silly but in all of them, the hero, James Hound, saves the day and captures the criminal, even if he gets them by accident.
Casino Royale Inspired Dog Name Considerations
Whether you are just getting a new puppy or adopting a mature poochie who needs a forever home, they will need some things to feel like they belong when you get them home. For instance, your pupster would love to have some fun doggy toys to play with, tasty treats and yummy kibble, a nice cozy doggy bed to snooze in, a leash and collar to take long walks with you, and a veterinarian to take care of their health needs. You also need to figure out the ideal name for your new doggo.
Choosing your canine kid’s moniker doesn’t have to be a major chore. You can just watch them play and learn their personality to get an idea of what a good title would be. For example, if your poochie is really intelligent, you could name them Darwin because Charles Darwin was a biologist who helped figure out the theory of evolution as we know it. And if your pupster acts a bit goofy, the name Martini would be cute. Russia would be pawesome for a Russian dog breed such as the Borzoi, Samoyed, or the Black Russian Terrier. If your dog has yellow or light brown eyes, you could name them Goldeneye, which is one of Bond’s most popular movies.
