Buenos Aires Dog Names

When a stray dog in Buenos Aires met the person that he wanted as his own, a flight attendant living in Germany, he was determined to get her attention, keeping vigil outside the hotel where she stayed for months. Buenos Aires is a regular stop for Olivia Sievers, the flight attendant that was the object of the dog’s affection. During one of her visits, the dog took an interest in her, following her around town. Ms. Sievers tried to lose the dog because she did not want him to get attached. But the dog was determined and Ms. Sievers wound up spending some time with him, feeding him and playing with him. 

Of course, Ms. Sievers had to go to work and was back on a plane. But her new friend could not forget her. The next time she was in town, the dog was waiting for her. In fact, he would be waiting for her each time she arrived at the hotel. She started to document their friendship on Facebook and ultimately decided to name him Rubio and adopt him. This, of course, took some work, as she had to apply to transport him to Germany. Rubio now lives with Sievers and her two other dogs. A homeless dog no longer, Rubio seems happy in his new home.

Another dog received media attention after caring for and sheltering a newborn baby that was abandoned by its mother in a field in a rural area in Argentina. Police received a call from a resident of the area who stated that he heard a baby crying in a field behind his home. The man went out looking and discovered the infant lying next to the dog and the dog’s six newborn puppies. With the temperature at 37 degrees, the infant needed the warmth of the dogs to survive. It is thought that the dog carried the baby about 50 meters from the place where it was abandoned to where her puppies were settled. According to doctors, if the pup had not done what she had, the infant, who was only a few hours old, would not have survived. Instead, the baby was in good shape, with just a few superficial scratches.
