Blindspot Dog Names

In the television series Blindspot, the premise is centered on an unidentified woman given the name “Jane Doe”. As the season progresses, more and more information is revealed about Jane Doe, including her birth name Alice Kruger. She was born in Pretoria, South Africa, where she resided with her parents and younger brother, named Ian. When their parents were murdered, the siblings ended up in a secret academy that trains soldiers, where they were trained to perform different skills. Eventually, the two were adopted by a soldier named Ellen Briggs; she was given the new name “Remi” and became part of a terrorist organization known as Sandstorm. She adopted and used this name until her mysterious appearance in Times Square, when she forgot everything about her past.

The name Remi may also be familiar to some dog lovers who follow the news; this is the name given to a rescued Pit Bull who was discovered in a lot in Chester, Pennsylvania. Remi’s story began when two teenage girls accidentally came across him and called 911 for help. When the police officer arrived, they found Remi in horrible shape; his injuries suggested that he was extensively exploited for dog fighting purposes until he could not fight any longer. As a result, his old owners decided to abandon him in the empty lot where he was eventually found.

According to Robert Ticknor, the officer who responded to the call and arrived to rescue the pooch, Remi was just curled up and lying with no life in him. It was also obvious that the dog was continuously losing some bodily fluids. He decided to give him a name right then and there because he did not want the dog to die without one. Ticknor called his colleague to help bring Remi to a veterinary clinic. Here, he received several treatments that helped save his life and give him a chance to continue.

Leanne Thompson, the veterinarian who attended to him, said he was not yet safe from danger and was still at risk for some conditions, although the prognosis was optimistic. Remi’s story quickly spread through social media and garnered a lot of sympathy from dog lovers. Remi acquired numerous fans who wished for Remi’s complete recovery. Moreover, a cash reward of $5000 was offered to those who can point to the direction of the people responsible for Remi’s abuse. After receiving treatment from the vet, Remi was released and placed in Justice Rescue sanctuary, where he spent his days recovering physically, mentally and emotionally.
