Introduction

Akame ga Kill is a popular Japanese manga adapted into anime, of course, and created by Takahiro, with illustrations by Tetsuya Tashiro. The exhilarating story follows a young man named Tatsumi who tries to provide for his family and goes to the Capital to earn and raise money for his village. However, upon arrival, he realizes that things are not as great in the Capital as they are presented. The city is full of corruption. Disappointed, Tatsumi joins an assassination squad called Night Raid and helps them overthrow the corrupt government. There he meets Akame, a skilled fighter who wields a sword capable of damaging an enemy with wounds that don’t heal.

Akame ga Kill Dog Name Considerations

As an anime lover, you probably know how hard it is to pick just one character and stick with their name when choosing one for your doggo. Especially if the anime or manga in question features a plethora of characters like Akame ga Kill! Therefore, you can start with the basics – top-down – main characters to supporting ones, and see which name sticks. An obvious place to start is with Tatsumi, a brave swordsman who joins the Night Raid, voiced by Soma Saito in the Japanese version, or Corey Hartzog in the English dub. All of their names can become your pup’s moniker, so choose wisely.

And for your lovely princess, where better to start than with the name Akame, after a serious black-haired girl who also happens to be a fantastic and skilled fighter with cold exterior but a warm heart. She was voiced by Sora Amamiya and Molly Searcy in the English dub.

Other fantastic choices are Leone, Sheele, Lubbock, Bulat, Najenda, Chelsea, and Susanoo, all members of the Night Raid and skilled fighters in their own field. You can also choose the names of their respective voice actors: Yu Asakawa (Leone), Mamiko Noto (Sheele), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Lubbock), Katsuyuki Konishi (Bulat), Risa Mizuno (Najenda), Kaori Nazuka (Chelsea), and Shintaro Asanuma (Susanoo).
